The client provides occupational health and disability checkup services. For each such examination, the agencies are legally required to provide all the documentation about the employee. These documents run into thousands of pages and it is difficult for the doctors and medical professionals to identify which records are needed for the examination. This takes up so much of their time that it impacts their schedule and invariably causes delays and inconvenience to all stakeholders.
PreludeSys subject matter experts after assessing the workflow and pain areas, understood that the care providers need to be given only the specific records needed for the examination. For this, the client needed a team of reviewers who would segregate all the pertinent records and flag them appropriately with a table of contents. The team adopted a highly-structured transition methodology that included planning, program management, agent training, technology implementation and quality system oversight. To do this, PreludeSys approached the challenges in two categories:
An offshore team of trained medical/paramedical/science graduates read each medical record and affixed QR codes on pertinent documents. The technical team automated the indexing process by moving to the top the documents that had QR codes on them.
